Extra Ordinary is about a young couple who must find the magic in the mundane after a storm washes away their beach plans.

The short film was written, directed, and edited within 10 weeks – and was shot entirely on a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.

It was really rewarding figuring out budget solutions and relying on camera tricks inspired by the likes of Buster Keaton and Michel Gondry. I couldn’t have done it without the help of my loving wife and my camera-wielding brother.
